The Dark Forest
The dark forest universe is being mined or, i mean, you explain it, you'll probably do a better jon. So the core a mechanic behind dark forest is that when youinitialize into the dark forest universe, which is this like really big, infinite procedure generated a universe of planets and other celestial objects. And what happens is, overtime, your s going to be doing a proof of work, something analogous to proof of work mining, to compute locations and points of interest in your neighborhood. That allows us to preserve the cryptographic fog of war mechanic while still insuring that all moves actually are happening accord in accordance with the rules of the game.
