On September 5th, 1982 The Investor docked on a little Alaskan island called Craig. The Investor was a ship owned by skipper Mark Coulthurst. He had brought his family and a good-sized crew along for the trip. There were four young crew members on board, Mark, his pregnant wife Irene, and their two children 5-year-old Kimberly and 4-year-old John. Unfortunately on the night of September 5th somebody climbed aboard and massacred the entire family. 39 years later, this case remains unsolved and is considered Alaska’s largest mass murder.
