The First Year at a Startup - MVP?

The first year at any startup is the hardest. What can we put out as an MVP that's going to then give us time to get the back-end perfect? That's exactly what our decision making, let's start with MVP. The MVP of our app was very slick on the front-end. It took you a couple minutes to open the account and get into the app. On the back end, we were still sending faxes. You know how Netflix says, never give up, we started with DVDs. So we have our own saying that the company never give up,. We started with faxes and look how far we've come from there.
