I was on Comedy Central, my first TV credit. And I emailed him to be like, hey, I'm going to be on Comedy Central on Friday. He's like, I'm absolutely watching. And then he died two days later. It took me a long time to get back in touch with Judd Apatow and Michael Bonafiglia who both did the Gary Shandling documentary. They're doing one on George Carlin as part of their HBO deal.
