Allan's Life in the Navy

The first wave went in with bomb release at two thousand 500 feet to give increased penetrating power. When the turn came for allan's plane to dive, the angle was so steep he experienced negative g and hit his head on the canopy. The ship sustained 23 hits and were severely damaged. Allan had several near misses and lucky escapes. Once he was switched planes at the last moment and watched the plane he would have been in crash and kill all aboard. Another time, his tail was near severed mid air collision. And later he was sent to a plane only to find another radio gunner in the seat.
