Aristotle's Ethics of Genetic Engineering
Aristotle's ethics begins with an account of human nature and it tries to base the virtues on that. Could we apply Aristotle and his style of thinking to modern day problems? I think it requires a certain amount of imagination to do so, he doesn't address that question directly. He thinks that friendship is a good in a community. It's something that legislators should aim at.
