The Real Audience Is the Umpire, and That's What It's About

The real target audience for that is your team mate. Ereal target audience is the guy at the plate who maybe just struck out, and he might know that it was not actually close. And sometimes an umpire will enter the game with a reputation already, so say something, and there's a confirmation bias that happens there. But then again, maybe the bench is usually ponding to the batter's body language. Like maybe it's just that they see that the batter didn't like that call and was doing a little look back or shaking his head. That is what cus the dugout, maybe to vociferously support the tani.
