How Can You Really Contribute to Philosophy?

Am, and a teaching and teaching these areas of philosophy that are important and make a difference. You can also contribute, not just through research, but by teaching. So it might be that you can't get into one of the top graduate schools, but you also can't get the sort of instant six figure salary by going to wall street or something like that.
