The Politics of Potlugs

I hate the politics of potlugs, particularly in any school environment. It used to be that potlugs were an opportunity to commune and to connect with each other over food. But now it's oh, I can't believe this person brought in muffins with refined sugar. So there are multiple layers. And then there's another layer of just judgment, and judgment around the type of sugar or is that store bought or is that?
