A lot of musicians have lived very very poorly for you know basically since we have recorded history so I'm always a little bit shocked when people don't realize that and there's a strange almost like golden age thinking based on the anomaly of the post-war economic boom in the US at least. "In some ways it seems like we're asking the wrong questions sometimes or we're framing the argument a little bit ahistorically which keeps us from really understanding what we could do to help" he says.
