I think there are two types of misunderstandings. There are people who love the book and believe in it and sometimes go too far and misapply a technique through a genuine misunderstanding of it. And then I think there are other people who misinterpret it for more skeptical reasons. They don't like it because of something that they perceive about it. So to me slant is about, it's about human connection and we're profoundly influenced by the behaviors of people around us. We succeeded in the struggle for success evolutionarily because we have a big brain and a poseable thumb. But actually the reason that we won an evolution is because we coordinate groups and we're drawn to coordinate groups.
