I think it's more that a self interest is ever present, but it's not the cause of these things. I mean, norms do play a part here, sothere. We're in competition with one another, for status, for for money, for for sources and so on,. But that's always true whether you're in very corrupt place or whether youre in a place that's not very corrupt. The difference is, what ar the range of things that i'm allowed to do in order to get what i want for me and mine? It's just part of the framework humans.
