Ancient Greece: The Crucible of Civilization
An early emblem of Eastern Mediterranean civilization arose on the island of Crete. The ruins discovered on Bronze Age Crete allow us to see what sort of shape an ancient civilization could take when it had advanced technologies and trading connections.
