The Bill Requires Platforms to Be More Transparent About Their Advertising Libraries

The bill would require social media companies to be more transparent with their advertising libraries as well as give information on things like their recommendation algorithms and how those work. One element that previously had been in the bill has now gone missing. The earlier version of this bill said that platforms could lose Section 230 protections if they did not comply with lawful data requests.
