Getting Your Marching Orders in the US Supreme Court

Justice Kennedy's opinion included a point that quote the court's past approval of sodomy bans was out of step with the law and other Western democracies. This is not the same as the Supreme Court being told what to do by other international bodies But it's a fascinating and really depressing thing to think about.
