Predicting Self-Efficiency in Mathematics

Being persuaded by teachers that you can do it at worked but a whole bunch of other things didn't work. Being told by a teacher I believe in you seem to be effective on the other hand with English being told  you can do it didn't seem to do anything. Things like looking at peers doing things successfully also didn’t seem to have an effect. One thing that did work was vicarious experience from teachers which is surprising. It does vary a bit by culture but that you still have this self-efficacy thing.
