Pam melroy, the former space shuttle commander filled in for nassa administrator, bill nelson. Here's some of what she shared in her keynote address. i was very inspired by the first moon landing, and that was my decision to want to become an astronaut. And you know what? America is still capable of doing incredibly hard things. Our full mars sample return mission which will be extremely challenging in the early 20 thirties. In a partnership with esa, will help give us more clarity than ever about whether or not life existed on mars.
