A 20 year old guy living in a bath and showerless studio apartment in central Tokyo, 10 years ago paid just 30,000 yen at $245 a month. But how much are these people paying to go into the public bath each time? How often are they taking a shower? You'd think it would add up to the point where it's like barely worth it.
