Mastodon Sync Marker API

I want all these Mastodon clients to all be in sync with each other when it comes to my spot in the timeline. Instead right now it's kind of scatter shot. There is a native Mastodon Sync Marker API but it's not super reliable and for the reason I think developers have come up with their own syncing methods usually based on iCloud or something else. Maybe by the end of this year we will be in that sort of everything is synced across all clients state. Yeah that would be really nice. Also like to see some changes to search. Too many of these apps require me to pick whether I'm searching for a user profile or a post. And because so few
