The History of the SMP Movement
When I was working on SMP around 1980, I had the idea of making this computational knowledge type system. It didn't get implemented until another 30 years or so for the development of Wolf Malphur and our whole computational language story. But that was a time that was in psychopaedic, I had this sort of map of knowledge and had these kind of different levels that Mortimer Adler had defined for the encyclopedia. And sometimes it was an interesting type of person who would become an encyclopedia salesman because it was kind of a, you know, you're selling knowledge in a sense, it's rather a nice thing actually.
