TKE: Building the future with Amanda Levete
Beautiful Misfits
The Future of Architecture
Amanda de levite is one of the world's leading architects. She has worked on buildings including london's viennee museum and lisbon's museum of art architecture and technology. Now she works with scientists at oxford university on a new eco friendly material called transparent wood, as well as a prototype nuclear fusion facility for the canadian clean energy firm general fusion. For her, there are two relationships at the heart of great architecture: how we interact with each other in the buildings we inhabit, and how nature is reflected both internally and externally.
