In the last few years, all these trials have come out showing that you can give people a placibo and tell thm it's a placebo, and they still feel better. You have to be fooled for it to work. And therefore doctors to prescribe it. They'd have to lie to patients. That would be anethical so every one's been like, well, placibo ffect is allready nice, but we can't use an medicine. It could just be that there's something about being in a trial and receiving that medical care and attention, and having that attention paid you by these top scientists.
