The Power of Aesthetics in Movies
I think I'm always very tuned into structure and story, but if you stripped away all the colors and all the like acting and everything like, what does the story do and is that good enough? And I feel like this movie has all those great structural story moments, but it's just like it overwhelmed me with how much the aesthetics of it elevated that story and made it the color. So yeah, aesthetics are good in movies, not a lesson that most people need to be reminded of, but I do sometimes.
