The Benefits of Having a Constitution

Having a constitution provides some level of protection. In Britain you go to jail for some saying mean stuff on the internet and you're not allowed to own a gun. No piece of paper can protect you ultimately it's only what people are willing to defend themselves but these rules being written down gives them less wiggle room.
