"Abusive relationships are addictive because we are going through all of those that cocktail, that hetty cocktail that we become chemically addicted to during substance abuse," she says. "And i can hear that maybe she has this predilection toward shaming herself and putting wrong doing on her chest." She adds: "Being attached to a memory of that is like being in love with a clothes casket".
