The Public Option in the Obamacare Marketplaces

The public option was something that we learned was not going to move through the political system in the Affordable Care Act. The way I could see it possibly emerging is this idea Democrats have kicked around a little bit and I could see them setting up if they were in power. If the ACA marketplaces make it until 2020, is there's this idea that Obama and others have talked about of letting the public option come into places that did not have any sort of health insurance available in their Obamacare marketplace? We're talking about doing it piecemeal. One of the things I think you could also see is a state like California or New York or maybe Vermont setting up its own public option just in the state
