Is the Illiquidity Discount Making Share Repurchases More Creative?
Jefferies CEO says he doesn't like share repurchases from illiquid companies as it furthers illiquidity. He thinks that if the stock was more liquid, more investors would be involved. If you're a big owner of it and just keep buying it back, yes. Most very illiquid companies, I think want their stock to be more liquid.
