Stonehenge and the Bronze Age
Stonehenge was built around 25 hundred b c e. At this point, there were just ten thousand people living in the whole of britannia. Life went on pretty well until about 700 b c e when iron started to first get introduced into the island. The spread of the use of iron was slow, to say the least. There were tribes that adopted it, but it was hardly an instant switch.
