Aristotle is giving a pretty good picture ofw a refined version of what the ancient greeks already thought about morality. He's not doing something revolutionary. If you have a sort of cartesian pro project or ow where you tri to get rid of all your moral assumptions and start with, ou know, what is the basic thing. And probably with this kind of radical project, you're going to end up with something startlingly different than what is approved by the culture to day. With with what will you get? Something radically different.
