The Anticathera Mechanism

The anticathera mechanism is widely considered the first known computer. It was discovered in a roman era shipwreck in the mediterranean around the year 19 hundred. An orrias would have been powered by a hand crank that operated gears. And this orery would allow you to calculate the relative positions of heavenly bodies like the moon and the sun as they travelled through the zodiac.
