Is the Cold War Really a Civil War?

This is a weird time, and i don't want to minimize it, but it's not the weirdest time even of the last hundred years. We've had decades now of a kind of pull back from a feeling of inner connectedness across the globe. And i feel like what's happening in europe and in the united states, and to an extent, also in south america, is an expression of that broader thing. That is a source of concern for me,. But i also think it is nothing like a civil war. It is nothing like world war two. It isNothing like world war one.
