The Integerness of Spellunky

It's almost like a puzzle game or something in a way that like spelunky never gives you. I think probably what happens is though over time you start to just develop some recipes that you like and that you're kind of like not really thinking about it that deeply. But even if you're playing optimally even if you are min maxing you could just easily pick up a wand or a spell or a perk that just throws all your min maxing out the window. It does feel like programming is the flavor especially when you have the some spells that modify other spells and blah blah blah.
