Right libertarianism as we know it today really is a product of the neoliberal era in a lot of ways. The role that academic economists play in maintaining american hegemony can't be understated. A lot of this classical liberalism or libertarianism just turn to forms of fascism under pressure and uh it's really interesting to see even 10 years ago when libertarianism was like the big thing on the political right.
