Arminius is a member of the keriski royal family, who are a germanic tribe in germany. He was able to unite the desperate tribes and lure three roman legions into a trap at the battle of tuteburg forest. His success and later resistance would leave the area largely free of roman influence. Is given this roman name, arminius, because the romans don't call anybody by their name. They re latinize teo, and fights alongside them for a couple of years before he turns against them.
