Mac Kills His Ex-Girlfriend
Despite disbelief and bewilderment, people couldn't help but notice how seemingly unaffected Mac was by everything. As he told the story to these officers on the night after his arrest, Officer McAlpine was completely put off by his flat, emotionless tone. Officers who had accompanied Mac to the location of the body, they were also disturbed by his lack of emotion. One highway patrol officer recalled it didn't move him when he pulled her body out of the water or when he said that he had put a shotgun to her head.
