What's a Category Mistake in Logic?
I've heard people say, we ought to steal man other people's arguments. And doctor norman geiser, our mutual mentor, was very good at that. He would explain the other person's position, i think, better than they could and then he would reset, then he would berit right. Sometimes people may do it innocently, but sometimes it's a dereliction of people their responsibility to try to understand the opposing point of view as much as possible.
