The Need for Multi-Level Models
The green monster is the wall in the back left field of Fenway Park where the Boston Red Sox play. In order to hit a home run over left field, you got to get it up over a wall that is not 58 feet high. Greg: We teach entire courses in multi-level model when people say, Oh, I've got to do an HLM. You know what? You probably don't. Just deal with the dumpster fire of your data.
