Anabaptism and the Reformation

The Mennonites, for example, are named after this guy, Mino, who was a anabaptist preacher. All of the Amish style religious communities in America, no electricity riding in a horse, got a big hat beard were sects that emerged out of the reformation. They survived by living in common on lands that were usually the property of some religiously sympathetic landowner. But even that was not sustainable in the long run and almost all these groups ended up having to migrate to the United States where that free real estate allowed them to sustain themselves.
