A backup broker is something that we kind of had required in Texas for a while. It's almost a requirement by the Texas real estate commission not ever state has that and it's kind of loosey goosey on what they actually require. I'm working with a client right now in California her husband unexpectedly passed away last year in November and she's not even in the business, but still needs to pass some classes before she can be able to work as a broker.
