The Resilient City - A New Normal
A resilient city is able to absorb individual changes and society changes. The places that have built not car free systems, but a more balanced approach between the public transport, the car and the walking andcycling networks are well-positioned for shocks such as global pandemic or extreme weather conditions. And it's really something that we should be striving for when we talk about aging in an environment where no matter what age you are, your ability to navigate smaller distances is so important. But being able to do that independently for as long as possible is so important too.
