Anthropic recently announced there are 100,000 token context model. I think in the longer term, that's going to be taken care of anyway by the models becoming more accommodating or longer contexts. Now that we have this sort of renewed attention on how to build better interfaces for AI, I think it's interesting that it's kind of a scene now. They're like podcasts like this where I get to talk about interfaces in AI. But it's definitely not a fully-fledged field. My favorite definition of what distinguishes the two apart comes from Andy Matuschak and he said something to the effect of a field as at their disposal, powerful set of established tools and methods and standards
