I'm just looking at what works yeah who were the last two presidents Joe Biden and Donald Trump to people who do not apologize who just double down. The dad principle of PR is the don't apologize double down principle this idea that in an information soaked world an admission of wrong doing is a strong signal of wrongdoing.
