The Importance of Identity in Institutionalized Racism

Ivan Dixon made a movie called Spook, which caused such controversy that it was seen as almost criminal by the FBI. I think what's sad about the idea and the reality of truly institutionalized racism is that you have to ask yourself: Is this guy fundamentally a racist person? Or was that just what people did? And if you don't have the we're with all to bucket, then what happens? Who are you? Yeah. And it's worse than institutionalized. It just becomes inertia. You know what I mean?
