In your tract, you're going to have terms that say that you're allowed to bill for everything up unto, up until the contract is terminated. So if it's been a month since you builled the client, and you've got maybe 80 hours that you need to invoice, get that invoice out sooner rather than later. This might turn out to be a client who hasn't really been paying their bills timely. Tor caud be three or four months of outstanding balances. And certainly, depending on your practice area, this could be tens of thousands of dollars at stake that you want to be super clear.
