The Difference Between Mind and Body
It's hard to define exactly what the distinction is. We all have an intuitive experience of mental phenomena that they're quite different than physical phenomena. There are clear differences between mental phenomena and non-mental phenomena. The medieval philosophers, like St. Thomas Aquinas, were well aware of this. They held that there was a very tight union between the mind and the body.
