Sarcher: The biography of one is created by the family he is surrounded with in childhood. There's an incredible letter that his father writes him later in his life, which is actually a very sophisticated articulation of what you are describing. Sarcher: Horwatz has been putting down his father throughout the entire book for just being this kind of meek little id who's like not smart enough to really be even up to the level of friends and the city college cafeteria. And then all of a sudden you get him in his own words, and he's writing this like withering like, it's like what you'd get from henry james's father to his soners
