Kantians, it does get complicated when you define personhood. You have a moral responsibility not to sacrifice others for other people's ends. The downtologist really wants to simplify this problem and say all persons are equally valuable. And so is the canteen doing the right thing by doing that? Or are you being a canteen when you impose a lockdown?
