A Five Way Tie in the National League East

If the results of seven games break the right way in the next two days, there will be a five way tie for first place in the National League East. The New York Mets only have to win two of their final four games from Chicago to quench the crown. Of course, it's unlikely to happen and even if the Mets just win one of the four games, they will automatically eliminate all teams except St. Louis. It's easy to be nostalgic for the possibility of something like that happening because we don't even have the remote possibility that it could happen now as we've gotten rid of tiebreakers.
