Amitai Agrawal: I was listening to Palki Sharma at Gravitas an Indian based journalist who talked about the role of Bollywood as a soft power for India. She said look at how the United States drives its soft power around the world in large part through Hollywood which is entertainment, he says. He adds that even within Bollywood there is this hankering for validation from the West and we need to get comfortable in our own skin.Agrawal: We should just embrace what they do right and embrace the following that they have but not have this hankers for the white man's approval.
