How to Rent a Stage for a Festival
McFarland was scrambling for cash, taking loans from anyone who was prepared to give him money. He would wake up in the morning and need to get millions of dollars into his bank account by the afternoon. There were suggestions that the festival be postponed, pushed back a year but these plans were rejected. The entire festival would go ahead on the last weekend of April 2017. With two weeks left to go, and the festival's bank balance hovering around zero, McFarland turned to the people who had bought tickets.
